The rooms at Chiramel Residency in Kochi are amazing! They have this nice wooden house vibe that really takes you back in time to the ancient Portuguese era. The teak wood floors add a touch of elegance and the rooms are so spacious and comfortable. I felt like a king in there!
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the cable TV in the double room. But hey, that's just me.

The staff at Chiramel Residency were extremely friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to rectify any issues and even made a thoughtful gesture to make up for a room that had a musty smell. The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to the city center and nearby facilities. Although our room was basic, it was comfortable and had good air conditioning. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks mentioned in the reviews, overall I had a pleasant stay at Chiramel Residency and would recommend it to others.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were comfortable and the air conditioning was quiet, making for a peaceful night's sleep. The hotel itself was beautifully furnished and well-maintained. The Indian breakfast option was highly recommended and we were not disappointed; the quality of food and presentation were excellent. The staff, especially the lady owner, were pleasant and helpful. The communal lounge added an elegant and traditional touch to our stay. Additionally, the hotel's quiet location made it a great choice for exploring the city.
Nothing to not like.

I had an amazing stay at this lovely heritage homestay. The location was perfect, with easy access to the city center and nearby facilities. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed. The traditional breakfast served was delicious, giving me a taste of local cuisine. The rooms had a tranquil feel of another time, decorated in a beautiful heritage style. The common areas were well-furnished and maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere. my experience exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend this place for a memorable stay.
That the room I stayed in didn't have a window, which would have been nice for some natural light and a view.

L'emplacement idéal au centre de Menton et près de la mer. Vue sur la mer depuis le dernier étage. Accès facile aux commerces et à la plage à pied. Appartement bien conçu et literie confortable. Hôte sympathique.
Rien quant à moi.

I was impressed by the lovely old building of Chiramel Residency which appeared to be in good condition. The communal areas were beautifully maintained and added to the charm of the hotel. the upstairs rooms were rumored to be much brighter, ensuring a more uplifting experience.
My stay in room 10 was underwhelming. The room itself was dark and lacked natural daylight, creating a gloomy atmosphere.

The room and bathroom were lovely, with beautiful wooden features and a relaxing ambiance. the old Portuguese building was well-restored, adding to the charm of our romantic escape. the location was perfect, situated in a quiet street yet close to all the key attractions and great restaurants.
The slightly uncomfortable mattress, which seemed to have a faint odor. this was easily solved by bringing our own under sheet.
